Tour of Bangkok, Singapore & Bali: Join MindWare Seminars in South East Asia next February for a tour
like no other! The city of Bangkok straddles the Chao Phraya River and is criss-
canals in every direction giving it the distinction as the “Venice of the East.” We’ll start the tour at the Grand
Palace, home to the kings of Siam (and later Thailand) since 1782. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha and
the Wat Po (home of the reclining Buddha) are next and among the most important in Bangkok today. Next,
experience life on the river with a tour of the Thonburi Canal and before we leave, enjoy a special dinner on
an antique rice barge while bidding farewell to the many golden spires of the city. The next day it is on to
Singapore, the city state that was once a British trading outpost and has since become a major financial and
shipping hub and one of the most densely populated countries in the world. Upon arrival, a visit to the
Botanical Gardens will tackle all of the senses before taking in a water and light show against the backdrop
of the Bay. The next day, visit the Gardens by the Bay with its Cloud Forest, Flower Dome and the
spectacular Supertree Grove that has to be seen to be believed! That evening, explore Clarke Quay and
the waterfront promenade for a bite (or several) of the many kinds of cuisine to be found. On a day off,
enjoy a traditional cooking class or visit Sentosa Island for some outdoor sports. On the last day in
Singapore, visit some of the different cultural neighborhoods that make up this multi-
